Halloween is right around the corner, and kids got into the Halloween spirit on Thursday night in San Luis Obispo.

Children and families sported their costumes at Farmers’ Market in downtown San Luis Obispo ahead of the holiday.

Kids dressed in everything from lion costumes to monsters for a trick-or-treat costume competition.

Some stand-outs included a young Jack Skellington look-alike from the Nightmare Before Christmas movie. One family dressed as the Flintstones and even had the family’s iconic car. Another family dressed as the Stranger Things crew.

Treats were given to all of the kids during the Halloween event.
