An afternoon fire in rural Paso Robles, destroyed a shed and threatened a home.

Cal Fire SLO says the small shed caught fire around 2:15 p.m. on the 4200 block of Prairie. When the first engines arrived on scene, flames were shooting through the building but firefighters on scene were able to protect the home.
No one was hurt. No word yet on a cause.
This fire was not related to an earlier vegetation fire on Jardine Road. Cal Fire also responded to several other small fires which were quickly extinguished.

Cal Fire is reminding residents to be vigilant due to high fire danger conditions.
