CHP is retrieving a vehicle that drove off Highway 154 during Wednesday evening’s rain.
According to the CHP incident page, the vehicle went about 20 feet off the side of westbound 154. It happened a little after 7 p.m. Wednesday near East Camino Cielo in Santa Barbara. The report says the driver may have swerved to avoid hitting another car.
CHP had to wait until early Thursday afternoon when the weather cleared to start trying to retrieve the vehicle.
Drivers are asked to be careful while driving on the westbound side of 154 while crews are out.
