Caltrans says it is nearly finished with a project to replace bridge railing at Olive Mill Road and Highway 101 in Montecito.

The bridge was damaged during the mudslides on January 9. Caltrans expects to stop one-way traffic control on Danielson Road next Friday when Olive Mill Road returns to its full width.

Both lanes of Highway 101 in both directions will be resurfaced starting Monday, December 3. Single lane closures on Highway 101 begin December 3 and last intermittently through Thursday, December 20.
