People stretched along the nine-block parade route, which started at Chorro and Palm Streets and ended at Higuera and Nipomo.

Students, businesses, and non-profits decorated floats and performed for judges through the city.

“It’s a lot of fun, my family was screaming and waving so it’s a blast,” said Stella Tabuenca, a Laguna Middle School Student who marched with the San Luis Obispo High School band.

Stephen Patrick of Stephen Patrick Design and Todd LeMay of The Bladerunner Salon and Day Spa served as the parade grand marshals.

10 parade announcers were stationed along the route.

This was the 43rd year for the parade.
