SMJUHSD officials say all three were re-elected to the board.

Palera and Perez were first elected in 2014, and their terms will end in 2022. Karamitsos was elected in 2006, and her term also ends in 2022.

“We are happy to have our incumbent board members returning to our governance team,” said Superintendent Dr. Mark Richardson. “I look forward to working with them to ensure that the board’s vision is implemented in our district and that our students receive the best possible education.”
