The hottest wheels and the coolest concept cars are currently on display at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Automakers will reveal 30 new models at this year’s show.
That’s less than half as many as last year, as more companies opt to debut their new offerings online.
Companies are also shifting gears on the types of vehicles they’re focusing on. SUVs, cross-overs and pickup trucks will replace the sedan, and a number of electric and hybrid vehicles will also be on display.
Analysts say they’re also concerned that the market as a whole may be slowing down after four straight years of record sales.
“The worry is this industry for 2019 for the first time in a decade, doesn’t grow,” says Morgan Stanley’s Adam Jones.
