President Donald Trump is once again threatening to shut down the government over funding for a border wall.
Speaking on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Mr. Trump said, “I don’t take anything off the table. I don’t like to take things off the table. It’s that alternative.”
The president also said he’s still considering declaring a national emergency in order to shift military funds toward wall funding.
Meanwhile, the White House announced that 3,700 more soldiers will be sent to the border.
