Mammoth Mountain has received so much snow this winter, the Sierra ski resort plans to stay open until at least the 4th of July.

Mammoth boasts the “deepest snowpack in the country” right now. They’ve reportedly received more than 446 inches at the summit.

Even more snow is expected this week. The area could get several feet of it.

As of Tuesday, Mammoth had a base depth of 140-210 inches. Twenty-four of its 25 lifts were open.

The last time the resort stayed open until July 4 was in 2017.
