Three sources say President Donald Trump will likely sign a bipartisan budget deal that provides nearly $1.4 billion for a barrier along a small portion of the border, averting another government shutdown.
The bill includes money for increased border security but no money for the president’s often-promised border wall.
On Tuesday, President Trump said he wasn’t happy with the deal but would still consider it.
He’s also considering an executive order declaring a national emergency, which would allow military funds to be redirected toward the construction of a border wall.
