Study reveals happiest states in the U.S.

New research is showing the states where people are the happiest.

Experts surveyed more than 115,000 adults in all 50 states and people in Hawaii reported being the happiest last year.

It marks the sevenths time the Aloha State has topped the Gallup National Health and Wellbeing Index since the rankings began in 2008.

Experts graded the states based on how residents felt about their physical health, careers, relationships, finances, and communities.

Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Utah rounded out the top five.

California ranked 14th on the list.

The unhappiest state was West Virginia.
