Cup of Joe Café is celebrating its grand opening Tuesday.
The new coffee shop will be located on the base at Camp San Luis Obispo and will provide job opportunities for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.
An organization called Achievement House has been working with Camp San Luis for the past 60 years to provide vocational training opportunities.
At the new café, people can learn how to work in the food and service industry.
The grand opening will start at 10 a.m. Tuesday. There will be breakfast, lunch, and coffee available.
Achievement House will also be awarded a certificate of recognition.
The café is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and serves troops, trainees, base personnel, and visitors.
