Some Facebook and Instagram users are experiencing problems with the social media networks this Wednesday, and the outage appears to be affecting people all over the world, according to multiple reports.
The website downdetector.com displayed a map of the outage, showing the majority of people affected along the U.S. West Coast and Northeast, Mexico, and Europe. The website reported that the problems began just before 9 a.m.
Facebook tweeted Wednesday, “We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
