4,033 customers are without power in Santa Maria after a car crashed into a power pole on South Thornburg street Saturday night.
The outage started just before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Police say the driver of the vehicle was taken into custody after trying to flee the scene.
PG&E has crews on scene making repairs. There is currently no estimated restoration time.
