Ft. Hunter Liggett sees super bloom

Fort Hunter Liggett is another California spot experiencing a super bloom.

The military base located in southern Monterey County shared an aerial view on Facebook this week showing a colorful display of orange, purple, yellow and even some pink flowers.

The post states the “wildflowers are especially abundant in areas of FHL that burned last summer.”

While this spot isn’t open to the public, other places people have been heading to see super blooms are the Carrizo Plain National Monument in San Luis Obispo County and Figueroa Mountain in Santa Barbara County.
