UPDATE (1:40 p.m.) – Santa Maria police say a two-year-old boy who was reported missing early Wednesday morning was located with his mother in Santa Maria.
Police say the boy was unharmed.
His mother, who police identified as Catrina Dolores Laverdure, was arrested on a probation violation.
ORIGINAL STORY (4:12 a.m.) – Santa Maria police are looking for a missing two-year-old boy and need the public’s help.
Police say the boy’s father brought him to the area from Arizona to visit his mother, Catrina Gonzalez.
Gonzalez took off with the boy in a white Chevy Colorado with a white truck bed cover, according to police.
Catrina Gonzalez is a 24-year-old Hispanic female who is 5’6″ and 185 pounds. She has blonde hair with pink highlights and black tips. She also has a full sleeve tattoo on her left arm and piercings on her nose, lip and left eyebrow.
