More than 800 fifth and sixth graders from seven San Luis Obispo elementary schools went on a field trip to San Luis Obispo High School on Friday.
Tiger Olympics is an annual event designed to get students excited about continuing their education and becoming a SLO High Tiger.
The kids compete in basketball, soccer, volleyball, football and track and field.
Tiger Olympics Organizer, Jessica Miller said the kids love this field trip.
“It’s something to look forward to as they’re moving through the grades in elementary school,” Miller said.
Students tour the high school throughout the day to meet current high school students and play games.
This is the fifth year of Tiger Olympics.
