A rescue at Pirate’s Cove in Avila Beach on Wednesday was ‘doggone good.’
A dog out hike with his owner while on vacation to San Luis Obispo County became caught literally between a rock and a hard place, prompting a rescue of the canine kind.
The twitter post by Cal Fire SLO says the dog named Cyrus got wedged in the tight spot at Pirate’s Cove and needed help to get free.
Cal Fire and SLO Animal Services teamed up to get Cyrus out of the tight spot without injury and back on his merry way.
He’ll have quite the vacation adventure to share with his buddies when he returns home to the East Coast.
