We all know the Central Coast is home to some of the best views, traditions, and shops, but now the region is gaining some national recognition.
Voting is now underway for Sunset Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Travel Awards.
San Luis Obispo has two chances at winning.
The city is one of three locations up for Best Bike Town. San Luis Obispo is facing off against Aspen, Colorado and Portland, Oregon.
The famous Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market is also up for Best Farmers’ Market. The popular market is up against five other cities including Eugene, Oregon, Scottsdale, Arizona, Whitefish, Montana, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Spokane, Washington.
On the South Coast, McConnell’s in Santa Barbara is up for Best Ice Cream or Ice Cream shop. The ice cream shop also has a location in Downtown San Luis Obispo.
