Weekend temps look to warm

Offshore winds will develop later tonight into the morning hours at the coast.

Offshore winds in the mornings over the weekend will drive great beach conditions in the 70s and 80s with inland temps warming to 100 on Sunday.

This will clear marine clouds and also drive temps in the 70s and 80s at the beaches with 90s inland. Sunday looks even warmer with beaches in the 80s with coastal valleys potentially in the 90s with inland temps jumping to around 100.

Monday may cool a tad at the coast but inland temps look to maintain the 100 degree heat.

There is a large ridge in the upper atmosphere supporting this warming.

It looks to break a but mid-week with a trough developing late in the week to drive temps that may actually return to below average.
