There was a little of something for everyone in Cambria on Saturday at the Chili Cook off and Car show.
The event was held at the Vet’s Hall and Pinedoraro Grounds.
While a variety of motorcycles, cars and trucks from vintage to classic to exotic reigned supreme at the event, there was also a gourmet chili cook off, music, beer tastings and 50/50 raffles all hosted by the Cambria Chamber of Commerce.
Keith Waibel was one of many showing off their pride and joy. His 1981 VW Rabbit Convertible has a long history in his family and still drives like a dream.
“Well 20 years ago, it was about at the end of it, and we were about ready to donate it to charity, and my wife said just said, you know, a real attachment to the car because of it’s history. So I decided at that time we were going to spend the money to get it fixed. So I did,” Waibel said.
Attendees also got to place their vote for their favorite vehicle as well as favorite cup of chili.
