Warning signs went up at Jalama Beach near Lompoc after a shark was spotted Saturday, officials confirm to KSBY News.
Officials said two surfers reported seeing a shark swim next to them while they were sitting on their boards in the water.
Jalama Beach County Park operators say warning signs were posted on the beach after the report was made and will remain up until further notice.
Warning signs are always posted when a shark sighting is reported near Jalama Beach.
