Inland temps will start moving back up

Nice inland temps on Wednesday, as expected the coolest inland weather of the week. Well, the trend is already turning around. Paso Robles only hit 85 today and Thursday 90s return with temps near 100 Friday and likely topping 100 for the weekend. Warm to be certain but not exactly extreme since mid 90s temps are considered average this time of the year.

At the coast it is common summer weather with morning cool conditions and clouds with afternoon clearing. More mid 70s in the coastal valleys with beaches in the 60s and some SW facing beaches in the lower 70s.

The reason inland temps will warm again is the stronger high pressure developing. That same ridge of high pressure will weaken mid-week with lower 90s returning inland however models are suggesting more warm weather should develop by the middle of August. Again, not entire unexpected for inland areas.
