California Highway Patrol officials say there have been five new cases of projectiles hitting vehicles Saturday night in Monterey County.

All five attacks took place within a six-minute window along Highway 101 northbound, said CHP officials. There were no injuries reported.

CHP also says the cars involved were either hit on the driver's window or the windshield.

There have been 11 attacks reported in the same area within the last three days, authorities said, bringing the total number of cases to 61 since February.
