STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — A firefighter has been shot while working a fire in the Central Valley city of Stockton.
The Stockton Police Department says in a tweet that the shooting occurred early Monday.
The firefighter was taken to hospital but there's no information about the firefighter's condition.
Police say someone has been detained at the scene.
