Shell Beach artist Donna Shook celebrated her 90th birthday Sunday while battling Alzheimer's disease.
She is a local artist and her family says she has a kicking personality.
More than 100 family members were going to visit her and have a party at the Madonna Inn, but her plans had to change because of the coronavirus.
Several neighbors and friends came to celebrate with Shook on her special day.
"I can help people and have fun," Shook said. "I was kind of getting tears when they came, I didn't know."
Shook's caretaker and neighbors arranged a surprise party in front of her home. Musicians also came by and played music for her.
