3 new cases of COVID-19 reported in SLO Co., total rises to 83

San Luis Obispo County reported three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total to 83.

Health officials say 36 of those patients are recovering at home while ten are in the hospital, including two in the ICU. Thirty-seven patients have recovered.

Paso Robles continues to have the most positive cases with 22. Atascadero has 15, Arroyo Grande has 12, San Luis Obispo has nine, Morro Bay and Templeton both have six, and Nipomo has five. The remaining eight patients live in communities with fewer than five cases each.

The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department will hold a briefing to update the public on the county's COVID-19 response at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. KSBY News will livestream that press conference at ksby.com/live.
