If you don't have a space set up for working from home , the Marriott hotel in Buellton is now offering rooms as part of its "Work from Our Home" initiative.

From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m, the hotel is offering more than 160 day rooms for $75 each.

That's compared to the regular rate which is usually more than $200 a night.

Hotel staff said they are constantly disinfecting all surfaces.

They're also providing room service, Starbucks, a bar that serves beer and drinks and a sandwich shop.

"It's a change of pace and it's enabling you for a quiet place where you can be productive," said Alison Sydney, the director of sales and marketing of the Santa Ynez Valley Mariott. "Its away from the chaos because some of us are working on the kitchen counter and some of us do not have home offices and the children are home from school too and if there's a parent that is still working which that is what we are encouraging as well then were offering them a place to come and be productive."

The rooms will be available through April, but may extend based on how long the governor's shelter-at-home rule is in place.
