Ten new COVID-19 cases were reported in Santa Barbara County Tuesday bringing the total case count for the county to 1,371.
Of those, health officials say 495 people have fully recovered, 583 are recovering out of the hospital, 39 people are hospitalized and 10 people are in the ICU. Updates on more than 240 are still pending. Eleven COVID-19-related deaths have been reported.
Public health officials say three of the 10 new cases reported Tuesday are linked to the outbreak at the federal prison in Lompoc where the Bureau of Federal Prisons is reporting cases in 907 inmates and 29 staff.
