San Luis Obispo County is reporting three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the county's total to 102 as of April 8.
Three patients are hospitalized in the ICU, 25 people are recovering at home and health officials say 73 have fully recovered from the illness.
One person has died of COVID-19 in San Luis Obispo County.
County health officials are now encouraging anyone with even mild symptoms to seek testing for coronavirus.
To date, the county has conducted 570 tests. Health officials say 43 of those tests have been positive while 59 additional positive cases have been detected at private labs. The total number of tests conducted at private labs is unknown.
Of the 102 positive cases in San Luis Obispo County, 29 are in Paso Robles, 20 are in Atascadero, 14 are in Arroyo Grande, eight are in San Luis Obispo, and the communities of Morro Bay, Templeton, and Nipomo each have six cases.
The remaining 13 patients live in communities that have less than five cases each and the county health department is not identifying those communities.
