San Luis Obispo County is reporting three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the county's total to 107 as of April 10.
Three patients are hospitalized, including two in the ICU. Twenty people are recovering at home and health officials say 83 have fully recovered from the illness.
One person has died of COVID-19 in San Luis Obispo County.
Of the 107 positive cases in San Luis Obispo County, 29 are in Paso Robles, 21 are in Atascadero, 14 are in Arroyo Grande, ten are in San Luis Obispo, and the communities of Morro Bay, Templeton, and Nipomo each have six cases.
The remaining 15 patients live in communities that have less than five cases each and the county health department is not identifying those communities.
To date, the county has conducted 639 coronavirus tests. Health officials say 44 of those tests have been positive while 63 additional positive cases have been detected at private labs. The total number of tests conducted at private labs is unknown.
County health officials are encouraging anyone with even mild symptoms to seek testing for coronavirus.
