The Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery in Paso Robles partnered with the Farmhouse Corner Market in San Luis Obispo to donate free box lunches to 60 employees at Vons in San Luis Obispo on Friday.
The co-owners of Farmhouse Corner Market and the director of sales for Vina Robles Winery say they wanted to thank the grocery workers for all they are doing for the local community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"It's one little thing we can do. I think we're all feeling a little helpless sitting at home and trying to do our jobs. This is just one thing we can do to give back," said Steve Lister, the sales director for Vina Robles Winery.
Lister says they did the same act of kindness at the Albertsons in Paso Robles last Saturday.
