No injuries were reported when a vehicle crashed in Solvang over the weekend, leaving the front stuck up on a cable.

It happened at about 7:20 p.m. Saturday on Alamo Pintado Avenue just north of Dermanak Drive.

CHP says the driver, a man estimated to be 19 or 20 from Solvang, was about to miss a turn and was going too fast when he turned quickly, crashing into a sign and getting the vehicle stuck on a cable that attaches to a power pole.

The driver and his passenger were out of the vehicle when officers arrived on scene, according to CHP, and were not injured.
