Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Health & Wellbeing Services is expanding their gender inclusivity program by providing trans, gender-diverse and non binary students with the services that they need to align their physical body with their true gender identity. This service is part of a continuing trend towards a positive gender inclusivity program for all students, which Cal Poly has been spearheading for several years. This service is supportive of the LGBTQ community and one step closer to making all students feel welcomed and valued at the University. Cal Poly values their inclusive socio-culturally diverse student population.

This on campus service of gender-affirming care is covered by Student Health Fees and charges no additional co-pays. The new service provides for an individual approach to healthcare for the students which combine a traditional approach with new services such as hormone replacement therapy and allow for additional medical services such as lab testing, counseling and health education support. Any additional medications prescribed will range between $8.00 to $30.00 monthly.
