Santa Maria police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the call came in at about 3:55 p.m. to reports of the armed robbery at Community Bank of Santa Maria on the 1400 block of South Broadway.
One person was detained in the nearby area as of 5:10 p.m., police confirmed to KSBY News.
No other information was immediately available.
