SpaceX tweeted pictures of the booster landing zone at Vandenberg Air Force Base Saturday.
Once the Falcon 9 rocket launches into space, SpaceX will make its return to Earth when it comes back to VAFB.
The landing may cause residents in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties to hear one or two sonic booms. The noise sounds similar to thunder.
SpaceX has completed 29 booster landings in total.
We will have a live feed of the landing on our website starting around 7:15 p.m.
The rocket is set to launch around 7:20 p.m.
