Repairs are underway at a Lompoc liquor store after a driver crashed into the front of the building over the weekend.

It reportedly happened at about 7 p.m. Sunday at Red Barn Liquor Market on the 700 block of E. Ocean Avenue.

“Next thing you know, bang, she screams, I look outside, there’s a truck halfway in my store and I just looked outside real quick, made eye contact with the driver, wrote down the plate number then ran around the counter and went outside,” Red Barn employee Naem Nameh told KSBY.

Nameh says the driver was arrested and she was told the truck was stolen. A female passenger reportedly took off after the crash.

No one was injured.

KSBY has reached out to the Lompoc Police Department for more information about the crash but has not yet heard back.
