Santa Barbara County leaders held a meeting to discuss the housing and homelessness crises in the northern part of the county.
The meeting was held in Santa Maria on Wednesday to receive input on ways to address homelessness from residents in the area.
Attendees also heard about what resources work best for the public issue in other parts of the county and if those options are feasible in the north county.
The department leaders also talked about increasing safe and affordable housing options for citizens in the city.
