A woman was taken to the hospital Wednesday after a car crash near Los Alamos.
It happened shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Harris Grade Road, about a half-mile south of Highway 135.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the woman’s vehicle ended up about 40 feet over the side of the road.
Firefighters had to extricate her from the vehicle, and she was taken to a local hospital with what are described as moderate injuries.
The driver was the only person in the car.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
