A pickup truck struck a fire hydrant in the parking lot of a shopping center on the corner of Niblick and S. River Roads in Paso Robles on Wednesday.
Witnesses say it happened at about 4:30 p.m. and it took crews about 20 minutes to turn off the flow of water.
A witness says the driver of the truck was questioned by police. It’s unclear at this time if they will be cited for the incident.
