Rushing water flowed down the streets of Santa Barbara after a heavy band of rain passed over the area Saturday morning.

Roadway flooding was reported in multiple areas, including at Mission and Castillo. Police were attempting to rescue people from vehicles in some of the intersections.
In the downtown area, flooding was reported in the De La Vina area and there were reports that some businesses were experiencing flooding.
The stadium at Santa Barbara High School was also reportedly flooded.
