Sheriff’s office investigating stabbing in Los Osos

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing that occurred in Los Osos early Saturday morning.

At about 2:15 a.m., deputies were reportedly called to a home in the 1200 block of 2nd St. where they found a man who had been stabbed in the chest.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and later released.

Sheriff’s officials say the victim’s car was located in the area of Santa Ysabel Ave. and 6th St. and detectives focused their investigation in that area.

No arrests have been made and the sheriff’s office says it is not releasing any further information as the investigation is ongoing.
