Four people have been arrested in connection with a gang-related shooting in Lompoc.

It happened on Sunday, March 3.

Police say officers were initially called to a report of a shooting at N. M St. and W. Maple Ave. but found no evidence of a shooting there.

About 20 minutes later, just before 6 p.m., officers were called to the Lompoc Valley Medical Center Emergency Room after a gunshot victim walked in for treatment.

Police say the victim was uncooperative; however, officers were reportedly able to find video evidence in the area of the shooting that helped them identify the suspects.

Officers arrested Dominique Ariana Roman, 18, Nathan Philip Barcelona, 19, and two juveniles in connection with the shooting.

Police say Roman and the two juveniles are known Lompoc gang members.

All four reportedly face charges of attempted murder with gang enhancements

Police say Barcelona and the two juveniles also face charges for crimes committed in Santa Barbara on the same night of the shooting. Officers in Santa Barbara reportedly seized a gun as part of their investigation, which Lompoc police believe was the firearm used in the shooting.
