The Sweet Shoppe at the Avila Valley Barn is closed for the time being after a fire there on Thursday.
The fire was contained to the building’s attic, but other areas sustained water damage.
A manager at the Avila Valley Barn says most of the ice cream was saved, but the shop will remain closed until repairs are made.
She says a fire hydrant was installed near the Sweet Shoppe just a month ago.
Firefighters arrived at the scene in just minutes and were able to quickly knock down the flames.
