Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s officials arrested two suspected drug dealers in Santa Maria Monday morning.
Investigators reportedly served a search warrant at a location in the 1000 block of N. Broadway at about 7 a.m.
The sheriff’s office says they found more than nine ounces of suspected methamphetamine packaged in half-ounce bundles and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
Detectives arrested Arturo Cardenas, 57, and his wife, Sheila Cardenas, 55, on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine for sale.

The two were booked into Santa Barbara County Jail with bail set at $30,000 each.
