A rain advisory was issued Wednesday for all San Luis Obispo County beaches because of recent rain activity.
During a rain advisory, everyone is advised to avoid water contact activities during and 72 hours after significant rain. The rain advisory is to warn people of how dirty rainwater is. After significant rain, rainwater could be contaminated from runoff and can cause skin, respiratory or intestinal problems for anyone who comes in contact with the water.
The rain is expected to go away Wednesday afternoon.
