It’s free Family Day at the Performing Arts Center in San Luis Obispo, and they’re inviting everyone to come out for an evening of crafts and entertainment for the whole family.
The main lobby of the PAC will be filled with fun activities on Sunday for families to take part in.
Parents can also learn about different summer arts programs offered in the area.
Event organizer Andrea Castillo says this event is about bringing the arts to the community.
“We want everyone in our community to know that the performing arts center is for everyone here in San Luis Obispo and beyond,” Castillo said. “So yes, welcoming families today, hopefully, some of our young ones who are coming for the very first time, we want them to have a great experience and to keep coming back.”
Local organizations will be there to share information on programs for young people in the community. There will also be a performance by The Amazing Max, an interactive magic show, at 3 p.m.
