The community of Templeton held a town-wide yard sale event on Saturday.
The annual “Clutter to Cash” yard sale is geared toward keeping unwanted but usable things out of landfills.
Templeton residents were able to sell those items including antiques, bikes, clothing, and other reusable items through the community’s program.
“We got rid of a lot of big bulky items because we said ‘what are we going to do with this?’ We’re not packing it away and our garbage was somebody else’s treasure and they kept coming most of the morning,” Kim Morales said, a Templeton resident.
The event promotes recycling, reusing and upcycling.
