Taco Temple in San Luis Obispo now open

Posted

The wait is over. Taco Temple officially opened the doors of its San Luis Obispo restaurant on Wednesday afternoon.

The new restaurant is located in what used to be Margie’s Diner off Calle Joaquin.

The first Taco Temple opened in Cayucos in 1998 before moving to its current spot in Morro Bay in the early 2000s.

The co-owners are Jack and Deborah Franklin, Gretchen Ross and Michael Foster, and Jimmy Leage. The group says it had been looking to expand for three years before selecting the Calle Joaquin location.
