Lompoc police arrested a man Friday on suspicion of threatening another with a gun.
Police say the incident happened on the evening of April 30 in the 300 block of North K Street.
The alleged victim told officers that a man had threatened him while pointing a gun at him.
Police say they identified the suspect as Rafael Vivanco, 18, an active gang member.
Investigators say they found a sawed-off .22 caliber long rifle at his home.
He was taken into custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, making criminal threats, being a gang member in possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a firearm without a serial number, possession of a short barrel rifle, and a gang enhancement.
